Technical Information

Rapid set-up. Freestanding tent (you place it wherever you want once set up and, if there's no wind, you can use it with no pegs = direct use!). Folds up easily thanks to the Easy guide system.
1 high rear vent and 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the middle of the sleeping area to allow the air to be refreshed and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.
Protection from the sun
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).
A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary player in this environmental information approach. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
All tents sold by Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years in normal use (your loyalty card or receipt act as proof of purchase). In case of any problem have your tent examined in the nearest Decathlon store. Spare parts and pole repairs at the workshop of your Decathlon store.

Stockage tips
Storage: after use, or cleaning, store tent only when completely dry to prevent odour and mould growth.

Maintenance tips
1 CLEANING - if necessary, the tent can be cleaned with soapy water followed by a rinse (hose possible). Then needs to be dried fully. 2 RESIN MARKS - …very difficult to remove: once dry, scratch it (delicately) while putting an ice cube inside to make it brittle and easier to detach. 3 STORAGE - after use, or cleaning, store tent only when completely dry to prevent odour and mould growth.

Really easy to set up and once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to put away too.

Absolute fab tent. Used for just one person for week, enough room. Maybe be tight for two people with two large rucksacks.
Probably the best tent for the price
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought this tent for a 2 week camping on different locations. It was my first time serious camping and I didn't want something too challenging to set up. I had mixed feelings with pop up tents, because few of my friends had bad experience with them, but this one passed all the tests with flying colours. There was no visable condensation inside, although we were in a very humid enviroment, it survived two days of constant hard rain and three thunderstorms without a trace of water. It is not too bright so it is still possible to sleep in the morning. I am 189cm and was able to comfortably sleep in it, however, for two people i suggest buying a 3 person one, but it is possible to sleep, if you like each other :) . Setting up tskes about 10 seconds, setting fown around a minute or two, but you should definately watch youtube video and try it once before you go traveling, because the procedure is not the most logic one and you could possibly break the sticks.
Awesome Tent for the price

Good tent to put up not to long to fold up if you concentrate !!
Amazing tent!
Used for 7 to 12 months
I bought this tent to take to festivals and am just about to take it away for the 5th year - it’s PERFECT! So light to carry, literally takes seconds to put up and take down and has withstood strong winds, heavy rain and even a tw@t jumping on top of it while I was sleeping inside last year...! It’s totally indestructible. The only thing to think about is the space..I’m only 5’1 and the 2 man version fits me, my bag and a crate for cider perfectly but there’s definitely not room for another person and it might not be the comfiest if you’re very tall. I would definitely recommend it, but buy the 3 man/XL version if you’re going to be sharing.
Brilliant tent
Used for More than 2 years
I bought one of these in a store in France in 2010 and it is still being used now. We've slept in it and also taken it as an equipment store on longer trips. It has never leaked, even in the British summer. Definitely a very good buy.
Great tent for festivals
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This tent literally puts itself up, just stand back a bit as it unfolds as it it quite strong. Very sturdy when up and you can peg it out as well to keep it in place, with the pegs provided. The double skin provides more protection than other tents although didn’t have much rain to test it in. Quite roomy for two people. It’s a bit of a struggle to fold it up again but gets easier once you have done it a couple of times. Great portable tent and appears far superior to most other similar tents and I researched a lot of other tents.
best tent
Used for 7 to 12 months
i'm disabled and i found this tent the easiest to set up & take down. it gas withstood stong winds and heavy rain for 2 years. the only problem is that the zippers failed after 2 years & now it's unusable.
