The "cuff" (the part of the boot that comes up your leg) is stiff and comes far enough up to hold your ankle in place. Along with the triple fastening system (laces, micro-metric buckle, and strap), it holds your ankle snugly.

Decathlon's FIT500 inline skates glide along really nicely thanks to their aluminium frame (stiffer than a plastic frame transfers the skater's energy very well), ABEC 7 bearings, and new 80mm rubber wheels (80 A hardness to give you more grip and comfort). The combination of the aluminium frame and the 80mm rubber wheels gives you a good balance between pushing and glide quality. The frame can also take 84mm wheels.

You can replace parts or repair your skates using the after-sales parts available in store, online and at your local Decathlon store's workshop. The parts you can change are the 80mm 80A or 80mm 84A wheels and the ABEC 7 or ABEC 9 bearings. The brake stoppers fit both the left and right foot.

It's normal to switch your wheels around because they don't wear out evenly. The reason? We often skate with our feet sloping slightly inwards when we push off and turn. If you want to stop them wearing out, switch your wheels around (in pairs).
