The body produces heat during exercise that can be preserved through the thermal insulation of your clothes. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the central core. Gloves and clothing must be fit for purpose to keep your hands comfortable. If you're unsure about size, it is always better to opt for a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big than too small.

All our gloves are lab-tested on thermal hand. The temperatures for use apply as long as you are walking & wearing suitable clothing. When physically active, body produces heat. This is preserved thanks to thermal insulation of outfit. If your clothing is unsuitable, body will get colder & blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in central core. The recommended & limit temperature ratings have been established on basis of 23 testers for temps from 5°C to -20°C & 10 km/h winds.

The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The closer the glove's dexterity is to 5, the more the glove can manipulate objects like the bare hand. In particular, we tested how easy it is to get a jacket on and open it while wearing the gloves.
